Ruby Grace

On this special anniversary day,
I want to raise thanks and pray
For all things red – posies of roses,
Rubies in a ring, even Rudolph’s red nosey!

But especially we give thanks and praise
For hearts that keep us going all our days
For bright red Valentine love hearts and affection,
That symbolise perfect union and connection

For my mum and dad’s unfailing love,
For each other, all of us, and their Father above.

We thank you Lord for mum and dad and all things good
and especially for this their ruby anniversary food.
